Someone stole my content and posted it on their social media platforms.

Monetized pa yung page! Ano ang rights ko as a content creator?

Pwede mong kasuhan ang nag nakaw ng content mo for violating section 177 of the intellectual property code of the Philippines or RA 8293, the violator maybe imprisoned for up to 9 years and be fined for up to 1.5 million pesos depende kung pang-ilang offense na niya ito.

Under the intellectual property Code of the Philippines, kung gumawa ka ng original content kagaya ng video, photo or kahit anong copyrightable work, ikaw lang ang pwedeng mag-reproduce, distribute o e-display ang content mo unless may binigay ka na permiso, without permission that will be violation of the law pero may mga exceptions ayon sa section 184 at 185 ng Intellectual Property Code pero generally, bawal talaga mangopya ng original content na walang pahintulot kahit na nilagyan pa ng credit to the owner, bawal pa rin yan.

Ang allowed lang ay ang pag share through the share button or repost button or retweet because then there is consent and proper attribution as a content creator you have to understand that kahit hindi nakaregister yung copyright mo may karapatan ka magkaso but syempre it is still best to register your copyright with the intellectual property office of the Philippines for stronger protection of your original work
